The most important effect of water stress on plants is that it reduces leaf area and leads to changes in morphology. Decreased results crop yield through the reduction photosynthesis. This study investigates effects decrease seed cotton yield, evapotranspiration (ET), use efficiency (WUE), geometry under different growth periods. plant was divided into three periods (vegetative period (VP), flowering boll (FB), opening (BO) period), irrigation applied at field capacity level during full (T), while non-irrigation (O). In experiment, 6 strategies were based on: OOO, TTT, OTO, TOO, OTT, TOT. each treatment, five leaves taken from every replicate periods, geometric lengths measured. Seed evapotranspiration, WUE decreased significantly depending severity duration which exposed. Physiologically, first stage tended increase lobe numbers reducing area.
